Noir Haze is the boldest panel we make — a near-black charcoal ground with swirling silver and pewter marbling, cut into a fine half-round fluted profile. It is the most dramatic thing in our entire wall panel catalogue.

Why the flute matters more on a dark finish

Dark walls have a habit of going dead. Black paint absorbs light and gives you nothing back; a flat black panel does much the same. The fluting solves it. Every rib has a lit edge and a shadowed flank, so the wall reads as a series of highlights rather than a void, and the pale marbling catches those edges and glints along them. It is a dark wall that still has something happening on it.

Give it a light and give it space

This finish rewards a bit of planning. Light it from above or from the side rather than head-on — raking light is what brings the ribs out. And use it on one wall, not four: Noir Haze needs pale surfaces around it to work, and a whole room of it will feel considerably smaller than you expect. Where Noir Haze works best

Cinema and media rooms, home bars, chimney breasts and headboard walls. In commercial work it is our most-specified dramatic finish — cocktail bars, design-led restaurants, hotel lobbies, barbers and gyms. It pairs particularly well with brass and gold hardware, warm pendant lighting, and cream or stone floors.

Installation

Panels bond to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive and lock together using the integrated profile system at every joint. No battens required. One practical note on dark finishes: check the wall is genuinely flat first, because raking light across black shows up a bowed wall far more than a pale finish does. The profiles accept optional LED inserts, which are worth considering here — concealed uplighting between panels is the single best thing you can do with this finish. Cut with a fine-tooth blade rated for WPC.

Each pack contains four 160 mm slats rather than one wide board. That makes them far easier to carry, to get up a staircase and to work around sockets and door openings, and it means a damaged piece costs you a quarter of a pack rather than the whole thing. The integrated profile locks the slats together so the joins read as part of the flute rather than as seams.
