Flute Slat Wall Panel — Cashmere Ivory Linen

Cashmere Ivory Linen is the lightest finish in our Flute Slat range — a pale oatmeal cream with a broken grasscloth texture, on a fine half-round fluted profile. Closer to raw silk or woven paper than to a painted wall.

Light without flatness

Painting a dark room white lifts the light and kills the interest at the same time — you end up with a bright, blank box. This does the opposite. The pale cream reflects light around the room while the fluting breaks that reflection into a soft rhythm of highlight and shadow, so the wall stays bright but never goes flat. It is our first recommendation for north-facing rooms and hallways with no window.

Its sister finish

Cashmere Ivory and Belgian Mocha are the same textile family at two temperatures — one pale cool cream, one deep warm taupe — and they are designed to be used together. Cashmere Ivory on three walls with Belgian Mocha behind the bed is the combination we sell most often. Because the weave and the flute match exactly, the transition between them reads as deliberate.

Where Cashmere Ivory Linen works best

Dark hallways, north-facing bedrooms, box rooms and basement conversions. As a whole-room bedroom treatment. As a backdrop for artwork — the texture flatters framed pieces far better than flat paint, and the vertical ribs give a hanging wall structure. In commercial work it suits galleries, showrooms, treatment rooms and hotel corridors.

Installation

Panels bond to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive and lock together using the integrated profile system at every joint. No battens or lining required. The grasscloth texture is directional — keep every panel the same way up and dry-lay the wall before committing to adhesive. The profiles accept optional LED inserts. Cut with a fine-tooth blade rated for WPC.

Each pack contains four 160 mm slats rather than one wide board. That makes them far easier to carry, to get up a staircase and to work around sockets and door openings, and it means a damaged piece costs you a quarter of a pack rather than the whole thing. The integrated profile locks the slats together so the joins read as part of the flute rather than as seams.
