Flute Slat Wall Panel — Belgian Mocha Linen

Belgian Mocha Linen is a warm mushroom-taupe with the fine irregular weave of natural Belgian linen, laid over a half-round fluted profile. It is the quietest and most tactile finish in the Flute Slat range.

Two textures, one surface

A linen print gives you texture at close range; the flute gives you texture across a room. Together they make a wall that works at both distances — the weave reads as fabric when you're standing next to it, and the ribs give it rhythm and depth from the doorway. It is closer to an upholstered wall than to any panel product, without any of the upholstery.

Fabric warmth, none of the fabric problems

Grasscloth and upholstered walls look wonderful and behave badly — they mark, they hold cooking smells, they fade in sunlight, they cannot be properly cleaned and a single leak ruins them. This gives you the same soft woven appearance in a 100% waterproof surface that wipes clean with a damp cloth and carries a ten-year guarantee.

Where Belgian Mocha Linen works best

Bedrooms above all — a full headboard wall, or the whole room for a cocooning effect paint cannot achieve. Dressing rooms and walk-in wardrobes. Snugs and studies, where the texture takes the hard edge off a small room. In commercial work it suits hotel bedrooms, consulting rooms and quiet reception areas.

Installation

Panels bond to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive and lock together using the integrated profile system at every joint. No battens, no lining paper, no upholstery work. The weave has a direction — keep all panels running the same way and set them out before fixing. The profiles accept optional LED inserts. Cut with a fine-tooth blade rated for WPC.

Each pack contains four 160 mm slats rather than one wide board. That makes them far easier to carry, to get up a staircase and to work around sockets and door openings, and it means a damaged piece costs you a quarter of a pack rather than the whole thing. The integrated profile locks the slats together so the joins read as part of the flute rather than as seams.
