Noir Haze is the boldest finish we make — a near-black charcoal ground shot through with swirling silver and pewter marbling, at a scale and contrast that turns a wall into the main event. If you have been looking at black marble slabs and flinching at the quote, this is the panel for you.

A finish with genuine drama

Most dark wall products are flat: black paint, black cladding, black tile. Noir Haze has movement. The pale veins fold through the dark ground in wide, liquid sweeps that catch light and give the surface real depth — the effect is closer to a polished stone slab than to a printed board. Under a wall light or a picture light it is genuinely striking; in daylight it settles into a deep, quiet charcoal.

Use it as a feature, not as a whole room

This is the one finish in our flat range we would steer you away from using everywhere. Noir Haze is at its best on one wall, well lit, with plenty of pale surface around it — a chimney breast, a bar back, a headboard wall, the wall behind a television. Where Noir Haze works best

Cinema and media rooms, home bars, statement chimney breasts, and the wall behind a bed in a darker, more masculine scheme. It is 100% waterproof, so it also works as a dramatic shower surround or a black bathroom feature wall. In commercial work it is our most-specified finish for restaurants, cocktail bars, barbers and gyms — anywhere the interior is meant to feel expensive and a little theatrical.

Installation

Panels bond directly to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive (CT1 or similar). No battens required. Cut with a fine-tooth blade or a sharp knife and straight edge. One practical tip with dark finishes: check your wall is genuinely flat before you start, because raking light across a dark panel shows up a bowed wall far more than a pale one does. Fill and sand any high spots first.
