Belgian Mocha Linen is a warm mushroom-taupe with the fine, irregular weave of natural Belgian linen — a soft matte textile effect rather than a stone one. It is the quietest, most tactile finish in our flat wall panel range.

Fabric warmth without fabric problems

Upholstered walls and grasscloth wallcoverings look wonderful and behave badly: they mark, they absorb cooking smells, they fade in sunlight, they cannot be cleaned properly and they are ruined by a single leak. This panel gives you the same soft woven appearance in a surface that is 100% waterproof, wipes clean with a damp cloth and carries a ten-year guarantee. The weave is printed and lightly textured, so it catches light like fabric while staying entirely wipeable.

The colour that does the most work

Mocha is a genuinely useful neutral — warmer than grey, deeper than cream, and dark enough to give a room definition without closing it in. It is the finish that makes a bedroom feel considered rather than plain, and it is particularly good in rooms with a lot of white joinery, where a flat white wall would look unfinished.

Where Belgian Mocha Linen works best

Bedrooms above all — as a full headboard wall, or taken around the whole room for a cocooning effect that paint cannot achieve. It is excellent in dressing rooms and walk-in wardrobes, in snugs and studies, and as a warm backdrop in a living room with pale furniture. Because it is waterproof it can also go into bathrooms and utility rooms, though the textile look suits dry rooms best. In commercial work it is a strong choice for hotel bedrooms, consulting rooms and quiet reception areas.

Installation

Panels bond directly to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive (CT1 or similar). No battens, no lining paper, no upholstery work. Cut with a fine-tooth blade or a sharp knife and straight edge. The weave has a direction — keep all panels running the same way, and set them out on the floor before fixing.
