Perugia Mist is the calmest stone finish in our flat wall panel range — a pale warm-grey onyx effect with large, softly clouded veining that drifts across the panel rather than cutting across it. Where Carrara is crisp and graphic, Perugia Mist is atmospheric.

The finish that fills a whole room without shouting

Most dramatic stone effects are a feature-wall material — put them on four walls and the room becomes exhausting. Perugia Mist is the exception. The veining is low in contrast and large in scale, so it reads as depth and movement rather than pattern, and it holds up across an entire room without ever tipping into busy. It is the finish to choose when you want the wall to feel expensive but not to be the loudest thing in the space.

It gets better the bigger you go

Because the movement is drawn at slab scale, this finish rewards a large installation. Run three panels side by side and the veining carries across the joins, producing the book-matched effect you see on a real stone slab wall. On a single narrow panel you lose most of what makes it good. If you are cladding a chimney breast or an alcove, consider taking it across the full wall instead.

Where Perugia Mist works best

Living rooms and media walls — the soft grey tone conceals cabling and wall boxes far better than flat paint, and the finish flatters both warm and cool furniture palettes. It is excellent in principal bedrooms as a full-height headboard wall, in bathrooms and wet rooms (100% waterproof), in dressing rooms, and in hallways where there is little natural light to work with. In commercial schemes it is our safest specification for reception areas and hotel corridors because it does not date and does not fight a brand palette.

Installation

Panels bond directly to a flat, dry substrate with high-grab construction adhesive (CT1 or similar). No battens or substructure required. Cut with a fine-tooth blade or a sharp knife and straight edge. Plan your panel order before fixing if you want the veining to flow across joins — lay them out on the floor first and mark the sequence.
